Sumatra Copper & Gold plc is a gold and silver emerging producer with a suite of highly prospective tenements across 3,200 km² in Sumatra.

Sumatra has two main brownfield projects - Tembang and Tandai and a main exploration project, Sontang.

The Company’s most advanced project is its 100% owned historic gold and silver Tembang Project which is being fast-tracked into production and is scheduled to commence production during 2013.

Sumatra‘s other more advanced exploration projects are Tandai gold and silver project - a joint venture with Australia's largest gold producer, Newcrest Mining, and Sontang a polymetallic project. The Company has a suite of other Greenfield exploration tenements across Sumatra.

Sumatra was established in the United Kingdom in 2006 and listed on the Australian Securities Exchange in 2009 under the code SUM. The Company has offices in London, Perth, Sumatra and Sydney.
