Tembang Project (100%)

Tembang is Sumatra’s flagship gold and silver project, scheduled for production during 2013. Tembang has a robust measured, indicated and inferred JORC resource of 1,000,500 ounces of gold and 13,121,300 ounces of silver.

The Project has an estimated annual production rate of between 60,000 and 70,000 oz gold and an expected mine life of more than 10 years with targeted cash costs of around US$500 per oz.

Situated on a brownfield site, Tembang was in production for four years until 2000, when the mine closed due to the low gold price of ~US$250/Oz, a fraction of today’s escalating gold price. It is a low risk project due to the many technical advantages created as a result of it previously being mined.

Tembang is a district with a collection of significant prospects. The most advanced prospects include Berenai, Belinau, Nuri, Asmar and Bujang with high grade shoots and further mineralisation have been identified at Belinau and Berenai.

Tembang is located 120 km northeast of Bengkulu in central Sumatra and covering an area of around 850 km2.
